Paul, what is your favorite pizza? I think mine may be pizza margherita. Why? Because I had a REALLY good margherita pizza 17 years ago and I am still thinking about it! Since then, there have been many pizzas, but none can compare (even homemade). I think I may need to start building a time machine…

Or what about the pizzerias that nail it one time you order, then it tastes worse than the cardboard box it came in the next time!? Mystifying and annoying.

There are two really great pizza places in St. Louis, one within walking distance from home and one from work. Not cheap, few ingredients on the pizza, but really awesome combinations of quality food and made to order in a wood fire oven. Drool! Now come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve had any pizza since leaving St. Louis at the end of July. Good, I have another item on my list to look forward to going back-especially since there is so much on the list right now why I want to stay in Europe.

Everything is better with good ingredients, for sure! I mean, just think about the difference between a fresh, good tomato and a cheapo. Not to mention good cheese and cheap cheese. And these are two main pizza ingredients!

IT SEEMS DUE TO COMPETITION ON PRICING , PIZZA SHOPS HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT QUALITY. I WOULD PREFER TO PAY MORE TO GET A DECENT PIZZA TO ENJOY.
AS THEY SAY YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET .
A LOT OFF SMALL BUSINESS PIZZA SHOPS HAVE GONE DUE TO COMPETITION FROM THE BIG ONES .
ITS THE SAME WITH HAMBURGERS ALSO ,THEY NEED A MENTION ALSO , AS THEY ARE NOT THE SAME IN QUALITY.

Antoinette – the great thing about human beings is we all have opinions and we love to express them – rightly or wrongly we own them and each person is entitled to that.

On reading your post I wanted to defend myself and show you how wrong you are etc but I dont need to. I am happy for you to have your opinion although I might suggest you watch a few more of my shows before you draw your conclusion tightly around your belief.

I turned 50 last week and you are the first person in my entire 50 years of living on this planet that has ever suggested I am arrogant.

Still – each to their own.

As for undermining every one I work with – have you actually spoken to anyone I have worked with? If you did you would get a very different picture to the one you have decided to paint.

If your show comes back please stop undermining everyone you work with. I have seen this show twice not sure if you are aware you do it but I find you come across as a bit arrogant. Maybe not realising but Immentioned it to a few others and they both leapt up and said yes yes we know.. He always tries to make himself better than the others on the show. I don’t want to be rude but thought it may be good feedback.
