HUNDREDS attended a sumptuous charity cocktail party last night to help feed Geelong’s hungry, needy citizens.
Ceres father-and-son singing sensations Cam and Taylor Henderson, celebrity chef Paul Mercurio and acclaimed magician Matt Diamond all supported the Feed Geelong party and charity auction at The Groove Train.
Actor, dancer and TV host Mercurio prepared canapes with ingredients supplied by food rescue organisation FareShare.
“Any concept that feeds people is terrific … it’s about not wasting good food and putting it to good use,” the Strictly Ballroom star said.
All proceeds from ticket, drink and auction sales will go towards the Geelong Advertiser’s Feed Geelong campaign, which is raising money for food charities.
