the good the bad and the shity

I have thought long and hard about my new years post and now I find myself a little bit drunk and it is a little bit too late for me to rave on about what I was thinking about.

I Wish my best to you all. To you I wish love, joy, health, harmony and prosperity.

I will be posting what else I think soon.

EVERYONE HAVE A GLORIOUS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

Please be safe. Paul. drink and drink and drink. It is the right time of year to do so.
Something tells me you won't want to drink by the time you read this. A little hung over????

Drink water, it hydrates your body and you dont feel so hung over. Water and 2 Tylanol.

Diane, This is going to be your year. It will be filled with so much love and happiness and hope, I can't wait for you to experience it all !! You will have good health and good times.
2005 is your year !!!

My emplyer 7illimated my full coverage insurance
as of 1-1-04 so I had to get a 80%/20% plan. Now I find out I cant get a Rhumatologist to take me under the new plan. So I called my HR dept. at work and they are going to let me change my plan yet again on Monday so I can Still keep my curent Rhumatologist and Ear NOse & Throat doctor. Good thing, my neck is flared up again and I have started having other problems with pain on my skin . like instead of nice hard hugs I used to like, I have to have very soft hugs or they hurt!! My Mom has Firbomyalsia so we are keeping that in mind.
Whatever it is I can handle it. I'm an Amazon, after all. A 36 year old Amazon named Kelly.

Love to all on the corner.

I love you all with all my heart !!!

Happy New Year to you also! Last night we got a blizzard, so we are stuck up to our eyeballs in snow...can;t even party for New Year's unless the snow plow goes through first. That is Manitoba, Canada for you! Hey Paul, have you ever been?

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE HERE AT PC!

On a sad note, my noble steed Dartin died on Dec. 24th. He was 24 years old. His health had been going down and I was praying about what to do. God took it out of my hands. I had him for 18 years and we had many many adventures together. He is at Rainbow bridge running and playing with the others that have passed on.

This may also be a repeat.
I also lost my two dogs in September within three weeks of each other in unrelated health issues. Gizmo died in his sleep. They both were in their teens. I lay all night on the floor with Lucy as she was gasping for breath, even though I had medicine for her. She finally looked at me and said "Mom, it's time to go" It tore my heart out as she was very special to me.

The next few days,I would get up to let the dogs out, but no dogs in the house. It was the first time in 37 years that there was no dog to let out. After three days of this I got on line about 2:00AM and found Princess, a Pekinse- I have since named her Cricket and she is a chararcter. She get very frustrated with my cat who won't run from her. He looks at her and says "get real, I'm old"

Kelly, I have theit picture with your son's poem framed and on my wall by my computer. It is a comfort to me when I read it. I have also sent it to a very dear friend who also lost her life long friend, a horse named Midget. She loves it.

PAUL
Here is a recipe for you that I found when I was looking through a bunch of cut out recipes that all women have in an envelope or the kitchen junk drawer.

Beer Bread
3C self-rising flour
3 TBSP sugar
1 12oz. can beer

Mix well and pour in a greased 9x5x3" loaf pan. Brush top with oil. (As I have never used self-rising flour, I don't know if you have to let it rise before you bake it or just put it in the oven.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.

Options: herbs can be added.
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp sage
1/4 tsp celery salt.
Or you can use your own wild imagination.

I am looking forward to the new year as I will be a grandmother again in May.

Also, the FIF which is only 5 weeks away.

Take care
Love to all
Marge

Dearest Friends,

May this coming year bring good health, prosperity, and happiness to you all.

Ellie and I are attending a Hawaiian-motif private party, and I was at a loss to find a grass skirt, which I wouldn't wear anyway!

Dinner is at 8 p.m., and I'm sure the chef who, with his wife run a summer camp for singles in the summer, will be broiling steak and preparing things beautifully. I know that after midnight, Ellie and I will go home and take our Pepsid AC!

Marge, congratulations on becoming a grandma in May! We also learned that our great-grandchild count will be going to 7 in the summer, with a set of twins expected by one of our grandsons and wife in Israel!

Monday, at 8:30 a.m., the cast of "Follies 2005" will be starting final rehearsals in the big Theatre at last for 5 weeks, before my chickies arrive for FIF!

Shalom and Love,

Gran Mil

Hey all

Happy New Year.

Marge, I am glad you are finding comfort, and are able to pass it on. I am sorry for the 3 losses you have endured this year. And am happy for the miracal that found her way into your life. Animals come back to us for 2cd go, maybe Princess is an old soul from your past revisiting you again.

Well I have only a monute as Tom thawed out our freeser and flooded the den when he didn't put a drip pan down for the melting ice. I had to rip up all our carpet and dry the floor board out with a fan. O h well, new carpet!!! WE were getting it anyway. Anyway the computer has been moved into Clay's room and so I will not seee it much.. I will be using the computer at work and leaving this one to him.

Love to all in the corner, Peace and love with every breath you take.
