Father's Favorite Ale Labels

(reposted from Mercs Own):

Paul has sent me some beautiful new labels for his Father's Favorite Ale. Yes, that's his dad, Gus Mercurio, you see in these photos. Click the small images below for a better look. Which is your favorite?

Hullo all, I'm baaaacccckkk! Not like you missed me but, I like making excessively loud semi-annoying announcements. I've just briefly clawed my way out of the black abyss of nursing school to check in on all the places I like to wander. I hope you all are well and I wish you the best.

On Topic: I like the very bottom one best, and the second from the bottom second best. The other two seem very busy. But if that's what you're going for then...

Congrats on your show Paul, I wish I could get it here in America. I'd like to see it.

All my best,
Megan

I think I like the 2nd one best, it's something about hands, I really like hands. Three out of four of them are focused on hands anyway, but i think the second one has a really nice effect, i think it has something extra.

I like how the hands are old worn and you say the beer is "steeped in tradition" it kind of..well it just makes sense, it really gives of that sort of feel, nice and home-y and comfortable..I don't even drink beer, what am i saying? haha.

With "Father's Favourite" as part of the label,
my choice is #4.

The labels were all beautifully composed, and it was a hard choice!

Good luck, Paul, you're on your way!

Shalom and Love,

I must admit I have tasted a few flavours incorporated into ale, but peach is a new for me. I especially like the label with Gus's face. That brings such a personal touch.

The one where you can see part of his face.

Great work with those photos Paul and dad! :)

Dear Paul and Cat,

All the lables are beautiful and creative,
but I tend to like #4, with Gus Mercurio more prominent, supporting the caption,
"Father's Favourite".

Good luck, good fortune!

Shalom and Love,

Gran Mil

I like picture #3 the most. I think it gives off the feeling of relaxation, just being at ease, spending time with those you care about.

Good idea, Paul, using your dad's hands. And whomever took all the photos for you did a good job. Very nice.

It looks like my post didn't make it --- the last one where we can see Gus's face (paritally) is my very favorite.

Although I think they all are wonderful and done really well Paul and dad. :)

All of them are amazing!!! but I like the first and the fourth the best! The first because the hands are so amazing and expressive (and I have a thing for hands, they tell you so much about a person) and in this case, it makes me want to snatch the beer right out of his hands and have it myself! :-) I know, terribly rude, but in terms of marketing, I'd say it's effective.

I like the fourth one a lot as well. That looks like such a comfy place to relax and it makes me want to sit down with your Dad and have a beer with him and listen to him tell life's stories. It seems very inviting to me.

Thanks guys for all your congratulations on me getting a new job. It really is official now, I've signed the contract, submitted my resignation to my current employer--all hell broke loose there and things are pretty darn uncomfortable, and I'm sure they will continue to be for the next three months that I'll be working there, but they don't hold the negative powerbind over me and can threaten and abuse me as they have done over the past five months. I can finally speak up and defend myself against their BS-granted, I will try not to sink down to their level and do it in a professional way as the situation warrants, but it's nice not to be censored anymore.

Enjoy yor weekend! Love Evelyn

Dearest Evelyn,

We applaud you, and if we could, we'd raise a glass of Merc's Own in your honor on
the occasion of your new contract and your new position in St. Louis...as one would say on such an auspicious occasion....MAZELTOV!

I think No 4 is a good choice. It has a personal touch about it that appeals to me. There's some sense of a circle coming full turn. Good luck with
the launch, Paul!
