I cannot believe what has happened in New York. I do not understand why or how people can chose to hate to that extent. Perhaps it is that people feel so frustrated and helpless that these sorts of actions are the only recourse they feel they have. If these are acts of a religious nature then they are not actions sanctioned by God but by people that are concerned with their own power and interested in their own causes but certainly not those of God's. I pray for those killed. I pray for those hurt and I pray for those of us who survived this and now live in a changed world. May we all work at making the world a better place, a safer place for ourselves and our children. May we heal the world of this kind of hate. We all must work towards this, the first place to start is in our thoughts.
