Chinese Horoscope - Water Rabbit

Sometimes when I meet someone who intrigues me or am drawn to someone in some way, shape, or form I will look into their Eastern horoscope. I find that the Eastern horoscope is more accurate for me and sometimes reveals much more than the Western. So, let's look into Paul's Chinese horoscope to learn more about him and have some fun as well.

The Rabbit

I am in tune with the pulse of the universe.
In my quiet and solitude I hear the melodies of the soul.
I float above the commonplace dissent and decay.
I subdue by my ability to conform.
I color my world in delicate pastel hues.
I epitimize harmony and inner peace.

In my research I have found some interesting aspects to the Rabbit, but let's begin looking exclusively at the Water Rabbit:
This Rabbit possesses an excellent memory and may have the kind of mental power that without being aware of it transmits his ideas to others. He attracts the kind of people he relates to and he may be surprised by the many supporters who rally to his defense when he least expects. He is, also, very empathic and is able to pick up the thoughts and feelings of others with uncanny accuracy. He is a subjective soul and his perspective gets distorted by the emotional barriers he sets up.
Now let's turn to the Moon Sign and Sun Sign meeting:
Aries (March 21 - April 9): This combination will produce a domesticated Ram with the genteel and calmness of the Hare. He, also, possesses nerves of steel, always willing to bend in theory yet never quite doing it in actuality. Aries frankness is camoflauged by the Rabbit's carefully chosen words. He is nicer and kinder than most Rams with slower and more painstaking ways. You can expect him to be solicitous but firm, enthusiastic but biding his time. The peaceful but observant Aries Rabbit is assured of getting things done his way in the end.

The Rabbit Personality

Here is where we get into the meat of the matter and should give us even more insight into Paul. His being born in the year of the Rabbit is considered very fortunate. The Hare as the Rabbit is referred to in Chinese mythology is the symbol of longevity and is said to derive his essence from the moon. The Rabbit is the would of graciousness, good manners, sound counsel, kindness and sensitivity to beauty. His soft-spokenness and graceful, elegant ways embody all the traits of a successful diplomat or statesman. He will lead a tranquil life as he will choose to enjoy a peaceful environment. He is naturally reserved, artistic, and most likely posessing good judgement. His thoroughness will also make him a good scholar.
The Rabbit is lucky in business and all kinds of monetary transactions. His sharp business acumen coupled with his knack of smooth negotiations will assure him a fast rise in the career (careers) he chooses. He sincerely believes it costs people nothing to be nice to each other and he will always make an effort to be civil, even to his own worst enemy. He abhors brawling and any sort of animosity.
For all his quiet and apparently docile ways, the Rabbit possesses a strong will and self-assurance. No one will ever accuse him of being an obvious or thick-skinned person. the well-mannered Rabbit dislikes making a scene. It is difficult if not impossible to know what he is thinking behind that soft blanket of Rabbit niceness.
The Rabbit usually has impeccable manners and discretion. He seldom if ever uses harsh words or foul language to make a point. He often assumes a cloak of decency and amiability to undermine his opponents. His credentials are almost always flawless. He may appear a bit slower or overly deliberate at times, but this is due to his inborn discretion. He is superior at his ability in assessing people and situations.

The Rabbit knows when to refrain from criticism. He never likes to embarrass anyone in public when he can settle the score in his own way. He is adept at the art of saving face, both yours and his, and if there is any way he can spare your feelings, he will. He makes mental notes of your mistakes or progress. But if matters are not serious or beyond redemption, he will good-heartedly let you pass. As a result, he is well-liked and popular, makes few enemies and rarely gets into trouble. People respond by being generous to him and letting him pass, too. No one has a more sympathetic ear to lend you than the Rabbit. He is an excellent psychologist and compassionate listener.
When given the choice, the Rabbit will go for the easy and good life every time. He will wear loose comfortable clothing of superb cut fabrics. The clothes, like the manner, will be elegant but understated.
The Rabbit makes a good entertainer and is a wonderful host. Pleasant and warm company, he has a good word to say about everyone. But don't let that fool you. He knows more than he will say. You can easily recognize a rabbit by his demeanor. he will be you best friend as long as you take care not to ask too much of him.
There is no great struggle in the Rabbit's heart between the forces of good and evil. He believes in his own abililty to survive, relies on his own judgement, and as a result is usually at peace within himself. His is the sign most apt to find happiness and contentment.
As long as Paul is able to continue doing what he wants he will find his own fulfillment in his career. I think this says quite a bit about "our" Paul. As long as he knows what direction he's headed in he will go very far. I predict that this is only the beginning and we will see much more of him in the years ahead. Sometimes things are a bit beyond our control, but I feel that things will be coming back around for him. He'll get opportunities that he would have never thought possible....out of the blue. They will seem as if they are, but truly, they are just part of all the hard work he has put in our the years. Hard work really does comes back to you and you get your pay backs...sometimes when you least expect it.
