The Brewers Guild of New Zealand will be hosting the BrewNZ Beer Awards for 2010 at The Duxton Hotel, Wellington on Thursday, 26 August 2010. The evening consists of pre-dinner drinks in the Duxton Chambers, followed by a dinner in the Duxton Ballroom and an awards presentation. Features of the awards dinner 2010 include:

For the first time, New Zealand fans of the phenomenally popular television series, 'Dancing with the Stars' will now have the chance to see their favourite show come to life with New Zealand's first-ever stage extravaganza, Dancing with the Stars Live, hosted by Jason Gunn and Candy Lane.
A-list stars from the five-year television series will come together for ONE stage show at Auckland's Vector Arena on Friday 27 August 2010. 'Dancing with the Stars' fans will see all their favourite celebrities and professional dancers LIVE, up close and personal, competing to win the coveted glitter ball trophy.
Celebrity dancers include former winners and runners up Lorraine Downes, Tamati Coffey, Beatrice Faumuina, Suzanne Paul, Shane Cortese and Norm Hewitt with two new wildcard celebrity dancers to be announced soon. Celebrities will be joined by their original dance partners Carol-Ann Hickmore, Nerida Cortese, Aaron Gilmore, Brian Jones, Stefano Olivieri and Samantha Hitchcock.
The original line-up of judges return for the live show with Brendan Cole, Paul Mercurio and Alison Leonard providing comments and scores for the celebrities and their partners on the night. Just like the television series, the audience still have a say. Text voting runs throughout the show with guests voting for their favourite couple after each performance. All profits from the text votes will go to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
Heads up, foodies! Paul will be at Tasting Australia, the country's premium food and wine festival, 29 April - 6 May, in Adelaide. Sounds yummy!

You'll need to be up bright and early for this delicious breakfast event. Paul will be in-store on Thursday the 26th of November at 7am to talk about his new cookbook Mercurio's Menu, based on his TV show of the same name.
In Mercurio's Menu Paul takes you on a humour filled journey around Australian and parts of NZ seeking out great regional produce and cooking with the locals. Along the way he indulges armchair travellers with some incredible scenery and entertaining foodie hints and tips.
Cost is $15 a head which includes Champagne and Orange Juice or Coffee on arrival with Double-dipped Chocolate Strawberries and either Grilled Haloumi and Ham on Turkish Bread or Fruit Toast with Ricotta and Honey Spread.

The lineup of the annual Geelong Wine's Toast to the Coast Festival this Melbourne Cup Weekend has been released. The October 31 and November 1 event this year includes appearances by celebrity chef Paul Mercurio at Bellarine Estate and a five course degustation at Oakdene.
